Rosacea

rosacea

Rosacea is always first treated with with conventional treatments like Metronidazole 1% gel, oral antibiotics, Tracolimus cream or strong steroids. If these fail to control Rosacea well, then we may use either a laser or an IPL. The next step is to add Intradermal BOTOX. These methods will inevitably control all the various manifestations of Rosacea.

IPL or Laser can be used in combination with Intradermal BOTOX (also called Micro-BOTOX) depending on which is the predominant presentation of the Rosacea.

Redness

In case where redness is the main problem, then Coolglide combined with Intradermal BOTOX will usually control it well.

Acne-like Eruptions

In cases where small acne-like eruptions predominate, then a combination of IPL/Cooltouch with Intradermal BOTOX and antibiotic creams is used.

BEYOND FLAWLESS SKIN

In fact these Intradermal BOTOX combinations not only control Rosacea, but restores skin to a state even better than before Rosacea started. Going one step further to give one the matte, pore-less, all-day powdered look. Some patients with already flawless skin come for these treatments just to get that finishing touch.
