Non-surgical filler augmentation of the breasts
For serious breast enhancement that lasts for years, we recommend a silicone implant (not silicon injections) by a plastic surgeon. We can refer you to a plastic surgeon, if needed. But if you are an A-cup and want to up one cup-size, then breast filler injections are useful. For breast fillers, our top choice is Macrolane.
Macrolane
The Macrolane Breast Augmentation procedure is comfortably done under local anaesthesia and light sedation. Immediately after our unique sub-mammary gland injection technique, the desired breast size is achieved. Without any recovery time, our patients go out immediately for shopping or to high tea with their friends.
The Macrolane is then topped up after about 1 month to make sure it lasts 1 year or slightly longer between subsequent injections.
There is no scar, bruises or redness unlike with surgery. Our unique sub-mammary approach ensures that the skin all over the entire breasts feel completely normal even immediately after the procedure. Your husband may notice but he will not be able to feel it!
Hyacorp
The alternative to Macrolane is a product called Hyacorp. We have done some cases with Hyacorp. Hyacorp is not too bad, but our preferred breast filler is still Macrolane because of the quality of the product as well as the predictability of the results.
Aqualift
Yet another material used in breast enhancement is Aqualift. This is not a hyaluronic acid filler and as such we are quite hesitant to use it. We are quite happy to use it for buttock enhancement. We had a number of cases injected with Aqualift into the buttocks that have lasted about 1 year or so. Macrolane on the buttocks would only last 3-4 months because of the constant pressure on the filler. So for buttock enhancement, our patients can choose Aqualift for longer lasting effect.
Fat Transfer
Fat-transfer as a procedure can also be used to enlarge the breasts. After all, the breast is mainly fat. But this procedure involves harvesting fats from another area. Which makes it a liposuction-type surgical procedure. Unless one is co-incidentally undergoing a liposuction, it would be way too much fuss to have a fat transfer compared to Macrolane or a silicone breast implant. Besides, some re-injected fat will always dis-integrate in the first few weeks. If 60% disappeared one one side and 40% the other, then the breasts will be un-even. A touch up will require another liposuction type procedure. For this reason, we do not use fat-transfer to the breasts.
Besides, if you did liposuction as much as we do, you'll know the fat that is aspirated is not quite something you'll want to re-inject back into the body. What more the breasts.
Fat Transfer with Stem Cells
Fat transfer to the breasts with stem cells is the biggest scam on earth, in our opinion. As with most other things trying to cash in on the word "stem cells".
