Zeltiq's Coolsculpting
Non-invasive Body Sculpting and Contouring by Cryolipolysis
The latest addition to our Body Treatment Center in Liat Towers is Zeltiq's Coolsculpting. This treatment which really needs no introduction is based on studies on the concept of Cryolypolysis. It was discovered that fat deposits can be destroyed simply by freezing and thawing the fat cells. After much research on human safety and efficacy came Zetiq's Coolsculpting device. This is the original Cryolypolysis device.
Each treatment of Coolsculpting involves first applying a suction to the treatment area. The machine then gradually and painlessly extracts the heat out of the area until it is completely frozen. The whole process takes one hour per treatment area. The treatment is completely painless throughout and surrounding tissues like the skin, muscles and nerves are not affected. After each treatment, there is a mild soreness in the treated areas which can last for up to 2 weeks. This soreness only very rarely needs pain medication and actually corresponds to a well documented inflammatory reaction within the fat layer that happens before apoptosis of the fat cells. Put simply, you know the area is going to shrink when you feel the soreness.
Of course Cryolypolysis isn't as simple as just freezing fats. The exact algorithm for the freezing and thawing sequence is highly researched by Zeltiq to deliver a predictable and consistent 20-25% reduction in fat cells of the areas treated after a single treatment. Most other fat freezing devices in the market are not pedigree like Zeltiq's Coolsculpting. They are mainly hasty copies of Zeltiq's Coolsculpting's R&D.
Our Coolsculpting service is provided at our Body Treatment Center in Liat Towers. At our Body Treatment Center, we also provide Ultrashape body shaping using focused ultrasound technology and SHR (Super Hair Removal). We also provide Liposuction services at our main Wheelock Place clinic and in the operating theatres at Novena Medical Center.
Our Body Treatment Center is equipped with Wifi and has 3 private rooms available for Coolsculpting and various other services. The clinic is conveniently located just off the main drag of the Orchard Road shopping areas so our patients can come in for a bit of discrete zapping and immediately continue with their shopping or meetings straight after.
Our Zeltiq's Prices
Single Area Treatments
Single area treatment (6.2 or 6.3 applicator) = $1,500
Single area treatment (8.0 applicator*) = $3,000
*The larger applicator treats an area twice the size of the smaller ones but for the same amount of time. It saves a lot of time and is very useful for men who have large bellies.
Multiple Areas Treatment
2-4 areas = $1200 per area
5 or more areas = $1000 per area
